The State girls swimming and diving championships begin today at the Marshalltown YMCA/YWCA…and for spectators, the Iowa Girls High School Athletic Union is trying to bring the issue of crowd control…outside…under control.

No line, no camping out this year around the Y grounds.

Y CEO Carol Hibbs the schedule has also been tweaked, with preliminaries set for today, with the diving championships tomorrow morning, the swimming championships tomorrow afternoon at the Y.
