Solomon Young had 14 points as Iowa State cruised to a 73-45 win over Southern Mississippi. Cyclone coach Steve Prohm was happy with the progress on defense, but the Cyclones continuied to struggle from three point land, making only five of 22.
Iowa State is now 3-1.
