The man accused of killing his wife a week ago in Zearing is now facing first-degree murder charges.
Gary Pillman was initially charged with second-degree murder in the stabbing death of his wife Betty on November 13th.
Pillman reportedly admitted to the killing to authorities after saying his wife said she was leaving him. Pillman will be arranged on the first-degree murder charge December 2nd in Story County Court.
