You may remember that the IRS fined the Marshalltown Community School District over $642,000 in 2018 over an issue regarding a payroll oversight by an employee.

District Finance Director Paulette Newbold announced last night that the IRS has reimbursed the district for those fines.  After the issue was discovered, the district made changes in policies to prevent any further issues.
