The announcement of the consolidation of the two Unity Point Health-Marshalltown facilities was made yesterday, along with a 65,000 square foot, $38.4 million dollar plan to expand the facilities at the Medical Park campus in south Marshalltown.

The hospital says all services will move to that location when construction on the expansion is anticipated to be completed in Spring 2022. After the move, UPH-Marshalltown says it will sell its downtown location.
