The Iowa Hawkeyes could be down a third starter on Tuesday night when they visit Nebraska. Freshman guard CJ Fredrick missed the second half of Saturday’s loss at Penn State with a foot or ankle injury, He is the Big Ten’s leading three-point shooter at 50 percent.
Coach Fran McCaffery who says the injury is not a sprained ankle and he is not sure when it occurred.
The Hawkeyes have already lost forward Jack Nunge (nun-jee) and guard Jordan Bohannon to season-ending surgeries. Under first-year coach Fred Hoiberg the Huskers are 6-8 overall and 1-2 in the Big Ten.
