Have you noticed? There is some activity in and around the Veteran’s Memorial Coliseum in Marshalltown this week. The demo is underway nearly 18 months after the tornado. Jennifer Hart of Park & Rec says first on the list, removal of the state and balcony and installation of a new I-beam.

Hart says the fund raising effort to raise the last portion of the $1.35 million dollars for the renovation is continuing, with only about $40,000 to go.
