The Hawkeyes got a lift from the return of freshman guard C.J. Fredrick who finished with 11 points and five assists after missing two games with a foot injury.

Fredrick says he started feeling better at the end of last week but did not expect to play 31 minutes.

The Hawkeyes return to Carver-Hawkeye for a date with Michigan Friday night.
