The Marshalltown Bobcats earned a spot in the state3 bowling tourney yesterday by grabbing first place in the sub-state meet at Wayward Social. Dimitri Fernau’s 527 series led the Bobcats to the win by 107 points over runner-up Ankeny. It is the sixth consecutive trip to state for the Bobcat boys.

The Bobcats girls missed on qualifying for State, finishing runner up to champ Cedar Rapids Kennedy.
