A late comeback fell short for the Iowa State women. Chrislyn Carr made three free throws after getting fouled on a three pointer with just over a second remaining as Texas Tech edged the Cyclones 77-74 in Ames. The Cyclones had rallied from a six point deficit with 40 seconds remaining to tie the game.

The Cyclones committed 20 turnovers in falling to 7-7 in the Big 12.
