If last night was any indication, the Marshalltown City Council will look quite different in two years. During a discussion on salaries for the Mayor and Councilors, Bill Martin, Mike Gowdy and Bethany Wirin all indicated they would not run for another term. Mayor Joel Greer has said all along he would be a one-term mayor. Plus, if Sue Cahill were to win the State House 71 seat, that would result in another change.
The Council last night approved an agreement to move ahead with an agreement on a condo project along Washington Street between 6th and 9th Streets.
