Day six plus in the Public Health Disaster Emergency and the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases has doubled since Friday. At last report, there 90 in Iowa according to the Iowa Department of Public Health, including cases in Tama, Story and Poweshiek Counties. Governor Kim Reynolds has ordered the closure of hair and nail salons, barber shops, tattoo parlors and swimming pools, spas, tanning facilities and massage therapy establishments. Reynolds announced these moves as part of a new disaster proclamation that suspends foreclosures on residential, commercial and agricultural properties as well.
