After the success of Saturday’s cloth mask giveaway, and with more masks in production from The Raymon Company, and Smokin’ G’s ready to hand them out again, you will have two opportunities to get a mask for you and/or your household. Tomorrow and Friday, the reusable masks will be available between 3:00 and 4:00 at the Marshalltown Police and Fire Station. Unlike Saturday, you will not be allowed to line up along High Street ahead of time and you will be instructed to move if you try. There were also some concerns over the weekend why these masks weren’t being donated to medical providers. Police CHief Mike Tupper notes the cloth masks to not meet medical standards…and weren’t meant to be.
Tupper also says the number of masks handed out to each vehicle will be limited. Sign Creations, the City of Marshalltown, 1230 KFJB, KIX 101.1 are again joining forces with the Raymon Company and Smokin’ G’s to make these cloth masks available to the public.
Do they need material, I have several yards would be willfully to donate.
I would reach out to the Raymon Company in Albion. They were looking for cloth last week to make masks. I have not heard an update since then.
Thanks for your help!
Debbie Schull was the truckers wife who was interested to n masks for truckers who don’t have them!
I would like to get 5 masks if I could for a mother & her 4 children. Is that possible?
