Scoopin’ the Loop. A tradition that goes back decades. That tradition will be highlighted Friday night in State Center where folks are being encouraged to scoop the loop. State Center Police Chief Jon Thomas says the community has been trying to do something fun this week and credits this idea to Mayor Steve Sodders.

Scoopers are encouraged to meet at West Marshall High School Friday evening at 5:30, the cars will roll at six and State Center residents are asked to step outside and wave at all the folks scooping the loop.
