Three people in Collins have died, apparently due to carbon monoxide poisoning. The Story County Sheriff’s Department was called to a residence in the 700 block of 1st Avenue in Collins Tuesday morning and discovered the bodies of three people, two females and a male, along with the bodies of three dead dogs.
There were no signs of foul play. The investigation is continuing.
