Over 400 new cases of COVID-19 and six more deaths reported today by the Iowa Department of Public Health.

The six fatalities raise the total number to 271, with overall cases of the virus now at 12,373.

Marshall County added 13 new cases for a total of 734, seven new cases for 336 in Tama County, Jasper with 238, 68 in Poweshiek County and 61 in story County.

Over 65 thousand tests for the coronavirus have beebn negative to date in the state.
