It’s another summer of work on Highway 14 north of Marshalltown and it begins today as the highway will be closed up to Highway 175 as the new surface will be laid down. Tony Gustafson of the District DOT office says the detour will look familiar, as it’s the same as the one used during last summer’s grading work.

The DOT will also continue some work on Highway 146 in Poweshiek County resurfacing the highway from Grinnell north to the County Line. A three year project to rebuild the Highway 146, I-80 interchange is also underway this summer.
