Protests continued in the state last night in the wake of the murder of George Floyd, but the protests remained peaceful. In Iowa City, police allowed protesters access to Interstate 80 by closing the highway in the Dubuque Street area. Both police and protesters described last night’s march as productive. There were some reports of graffiti on the UofI campus.
