Another active weekend for the COVID-19 virus as 700 new cases have been reported since midday Friday. 22 of them in Story County for 150, 11 in Marshall county for 926, Four in Tama, 3 in Jasper and 1 in Poweshiek counties. The statewide total to date now 21,794.

Deaths now at 606 after a rise since Friday of 17 new fatalities.

12,828 cases have recovered, 522 in Marshall county, 322 in Tama County and 199 in Jasper County.
