Several hundred new cases of Coronavirus reported over the past 48 hours, but only two new fatalities.

The case count in the state rose 504 since Saturday morning to 23,959, 32 of them in Story County for a to-date total of 248, most of those over the 10 days or so. Only one new case in Marshall County for 941, four in Jasper County for 283.

The two newly reported deaths bring the state count to 652.
