After nearly a dozen years of work, the installation of a sewer system in the Marshall County community of Green Mountain is about ready for work to begin. At its special meeting tomorrow, the Marshall County Board of Supervisors will accept, for it, the last piece of the financial puzzle, a $126,000 Community Development Black Grant. That says Supervisor Dave Thompson, will trigger the next pieces of the puzzle.
Thompson says it’s possible that work on the lagoon could begin this fall, pending the completion of the environmental work required.
