The rise in both cases and recoveries from COVID-19 continue to add up by the hundreds, but the confirmed cases are outpacing the recoveries.

562 new cases of the virus reported since midday yesterday for 34,321.  19 of those in Story County for 854, 12 in Marshall County for 1,082.

Recoveries rebounded by 314 to 26,082. Three more to the plus side in Marshall County for 946, 9 recovered in Tama County for 410 and 28 more in Story County for 438.

Six more deaths have been reported, one of them in Story County, for a statewide number of 748.
