Two more COVID-19 related deaths in Central Iowa, one in Marshall County, the other in Story County, are among five new deaths reported since midday yesterday. That brings the state total to 798.

Confirmed cases bumped up 461 to 39,378. 20 of those in Jasper County, 13 in Story County and 10 in Marshall County. The 20 in Jasper County include 11 new cases at Newton Health Care for a  total in that long-term care facility of 50 right now.

306 more Iowans have recovered for a to-date total of 28,278.
