East Marshall was eliminated from the state softball post season, but not because the Mustangs lost to Ogden. It was because they never made it to Ogden.

On the way to the regional final, the team learned that a member of the team had tested positive for COVID-19. So, the bus and the Mustang faithful turned around and returned to LeGrand. A win last night would have advanced the team to the state tourney, instead, Ogden will advance to state…and the Mustangs wait to see if anyone else tests positive for the virus.
