The numbers continue to add up, COVID-wise in Iowa. 307 new confirmed cases reported since yesterday’s noon hour for a total of 39,727. Ten of those in Story County, eight new cases in Marshall County, and one each in Tama and Jasper Counties.

12 more deaths, including the initial death related to the virus in Grundy County. Also, one additional death in both Story and Jasper Counties. The state total now 808.

224 remain hospitalized in the state, 71 of them in intensive care units.
