Maren Morris was ‘Mommy Shamed’ on social media for sharing a picture of her and her newborn son on a floatie on a river. She says anyone who Mommy Shames another person is insecure about their own motherhood “You know I can take someone saying my music sucks or like I’m ruining country music, but for some reason the mother card I can’t emotionally handle right now. So, I was like I’m just going to protect myself and him from it”

Jay DeMarcus is heading into the world of television. The Rascal Flatts star has announced that he and his family are at the center of a new reality show called DeMarcus Family Rules that’s set to air on Netflix next month. The show will offer a behind-the-scenes look at Jay’s life in Nashville with his wife, Allison, and two young children Madeline and Dylan. . DeMarcus Family Rules premieres on Netflix on August 19.

Dave Franco will play rapper Vanilla Ice in an upcoming biopic titled “To the Extreme.” centering on the rise of the rapper from a high school dropout selling cars in Dallas to having the first hip-hop single to top the Billboard charts with “Ice Ice Baby.”the project currently has no start date.

Pete Rose died yesterday.  He was 83.  There's no word on the cause of death.  Pete is still MLB's all-time hits leader and holds several other records.  But he's still not in the Hall of Fame because of his gambling scandal.

Lainey Wilson was just added as a third host of the CMA Awards.  She will join Luke Bryan and Peyton Manning as co-hosts.  The ceremony takes place November 20th, live from the Bridgestone Arena in Nashville.

Jelly Roll tells Interview magazine that he realized who he was making music for when he attended an NBA game last year. “My music is for middle America. Hardworking, back-sweating, blue collar people. I realize now that if I go to a basketball game, very few people sitting in the bowl will know me, but every person that works in the arena will. That brought so much clarity to my songwriting."

Donnie 10/1/2024

OUR KIX CRITTER OF THE WEEK IS DONNIE!!!

Donnie is a 2 year old Rottweiler that came in as a stray that was not claimed. Donnie is a big love bug that gets along with everyone he meets. He does well with both dogs and cats.

He tested positive for Heartworms back in April and has been treated ever since. Currently his test did come back positive, but his numbers have gone down and his prognosis is GOOD!The ARL will help with his current meds to ensure a happy healthy Donnie.
