For the first time in history, the ACM Awards will take place virtually, The Academy of Country Music shared in an Instagram post on Monday that the 55th annual ceremony will be “the first-ever totally virtual” show when it airs next month. They are “cooking up the most entertaining show yet.” they say and Keith Urban will host. The ACM Awards airs on CBS on September 16 at 7 p.m.
Tim McGraw says his mother, Betty, had a difficult life. Despite her problems, she always put her family first. So, It would be no surprise to find out Tim McGraw’s mother inspired his new single “I Called Mama” … “She always, always, always put everything she had into us. More Tiger King news….NBCUniversal’s television and streaming platforms have ordered “Joe Exotic,” starring Kate McKinnon as Big Cat Rescue founder Carole Baskin, straight to series. It’ll roll out across NBC’s broadcast network, streaming service Peacock and cable channel USA. It’ll be a limited series based on true events following Carole Baskin as she sets out to shut down Joe Exotic. The role of Joe “Exotic” hasn’t been cast yet…
Keanu Reeves And Alex Winter were on with Stephen Colbert … and give a little insight into what the new Bill & Ted movie is about. “Well, Bill and Ted have to find this one song that has to be played by a particular point in time. So, we are going to our future selves to try and get the song” ‘Bill & Ted Face The Music’ is in theaters and video on demand on Friday.

Glen Powell from “Twisters” and “Top Gun Maverick” fame, called in to a lookalike contest of him in his home town of Austin, Texas. And he gave the winner the opportunity to put their parents or any family member in his next movie. Glen’s mom Cyndy was even in the crowd to give her approval and called up Glen on FaceTime to share a message. The winner was a physician's assistant from Austin. In addition to Glen's prize, he also got $5 . . . a cowboy hat . . . and free queso from Torchy's for a year.

The Daily Star reports Diddy's plea for house arrest on his private island in Florida has been rejected by a New York City judge. Who saw that coming!!! Anyone? The rapper's legal team suggested he serve house arrest in his Manhattan apartment with added security. Diddy is facing charges of trafficking and other crimes, which he denies.
