Two suspects have been arrested in connection with a series of church burglaries last week in Ames.
Zakery Hyer and Austin Cox were arrested over the weekend. A search warrant was issued at their home. Items stolen from four Ames area churches were recovered.
Both Hyer and Cox have been charged with 3rd degree burglary. Ames police continue to investigate the thefts.
