The positivity rate for COVID testing in the state has risen one-tenth of a percent to an even 11 percent as of this morning’s data from the coronavirus website. It was helped by 842 new cases reported since midday yesterday for a to date total of 82,957, 32 new cases in Story County, 11 in Jasper County and seven in Hardin County. No new cases reported in Marshall and Tama Counties.

Five additional deaths reported for a total of 1,298.
