Iowa is nearing the 84,000 mark in confirmed COVID-19 cases to date. 636 new cases since midday yesterday reported brings the total to 83,993. 30 new cases in Story County for a total of 3,405; Eight new cases in Jasper County, Four in Poweshiek County and two new cases in Marshall County for a total of 1,770.

Three new deaths adds up to 1,303 statewide, no new fatalities in our immediate area.
