Since our Saturday morning news, 1,631 new cases have been added to the total on the state’s COVID-19 website. We begin the week with 86,662 cases to date. 26 new cases in Tama County, 25 in Story County 13 in Marshall County and 12 each in Poweshiek and Jasper County.

The state’s death toll associated with the rona went up by 5 to 1,316.
