Ames police investigating a shooting yesterday at Brookside Park.

A man showed up at Mary Greeley Medical Center just after 5:30 yesterday afternoon with a gunshot wound. After getting info on the individual, Police also confirmed the details with witnesses in the area when the shooting happened.

The gunshot victim was later transferred toa Des Moines Hospital in an unknown condition.
