Faced with a possible $20 million lawsuit, the University of Iowa says it would not pay on the demand from eight former Black players who alleged racial discrimination while they were part of the Hawkeye program.
The demand also called for the university of fire head coach Kirk Ferentz, offensive line coach Brian Ferentz and athletic director Gary Barta.
The lawyer representing the players says if the demands are not met by today, a lawsuit would be filed.
