The COIVD numbers continue to pile up. 28 more deaths and 877 new cases of the virus have been posted to the state’s website.

21 new cases in Story County, 10 in Jasper County, 8 in Marshall County. The state total now 109,211 with the positivity testing rate at 12.0 percent.

The 28 new deaths include one in Story County; the to-date total now 1,576.

Yet another hospitalization record this morning, with 534 Iowans being treated, 134 in ICU.
