The List for Monday, November 2nd 2020

Welcome to The List –

Luke Combs will be taking the virtual stage this week for a conversation with his fans and a livestream performance of some of the songs off his new deluxe album, ‘What You See Ain’t Always What You Get’. The stripped-down show comes courtesy of Amazon Music, and will kick off Friday, November 6 at noon.

What does Brett Young say really creeps him out? Cardboard Cut-outs at sporting events. that’s what…“I hate that. I think it’s so weird. I understand why; I know it’s even, like, a source of revenue for the teams. But it creeps me out. I don’t like it. I’d rather see an empty stadium than cardboard cut-outs.”

ABC is adding a third “Disney Family Singalong” with a new holiday-themed show set to air the week after Thanksgiving. “The Disney Holiday Singalong” will air Monday, Nov. 30 as part of the ABC’s holiday lineup. Watch for staple “The Wonderful World of Disney: Magical Holiday Celebration,” and a country music-themed CMA special.

We’ve lost another movie icon over the weekend, Sir Thomas Sean Connery. Knighted by Queen Elizabeth in 2000, he was an Academy Award winner, voted ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ in 1989 and ‘Of The Century’ in 1999…and of course HE was ‘Bond, James Bond’ in seven Bond films. Sean Connery passed peacefully surrounded by family on Saturday. He was 90 years old.

Dave Chappelle is going to host ”Saturday Night Live” this week.

You can catch The List weekdays at 2:20 and 4:20, on Iowa’s BEST Country KIX 101.1

They don’t know how to be in public places."
