came into the shelter originally he had ear bites badly on both of his
ears. Their best guess is that Kong was tied up outside without much
interaction with people or other animals. He was adopted out once and
after a couple years he is back. His previous owner was hospitalized and
Kong would not let anyone into the home to care for him, leading to his
return to the shelter.
He will not be adopted to a home that already has pets or small
children. He is very selective on who he likes but is a big teddy bear
when he does. When Kong is in a crate he does very good about not going
to the bathroom in it. Kong is looking for a family that will be patient
with him while he is learning the ropes of obedience, good behaviors,
and walking correctly on a leash. He has come a long way already with
fast learning but is still working on being the best dog he can be. His
adoption fee of $125 includes his neuter, vaccinations, treatment for
intestinal parasites, a heartworm test, and a microchip. If you are
interested in making Kong a member of your family please give our
shelter a call to discuss this special boy or stop at the front desk
while visiting the shelter. More info

In Theaters this weekend: ‘Avatar: Fire and Ash’
Avatar: Fire and Ash picks up after The Way of Water and dives into darker territory, introducing a more aggressive Na’vi tribe tied to fire and volcanic regions. It cranks up the conflict, explores moral gray areas, and shows Pandora is a lot less peaceful than we thought.
