The 63rd Annual Grammy Awards were held at the Los Angeles Staples Center on Sunday night, March 14.  Hosted by Trevor Noah of The Daily Show, the ceremony saw Miranda Lambert, Taylor Swift, Brandi Carlilie, Dan + Shay and the late John Prine among the night’s country and Americana winners.

Lambert won the award for Best Country Album, with Dan + Shay earning the Best Country Duo / Group Performance award, Prine winning two times posthumously in the Best American Roots Song and Best American Roots Solo Performance categories, and Vince Gill taking home his 22nd career award for Best Country Solo Performance for “When My Amy Prays.”  31-year-old Swift became the first woman to win Album of the Year three times, picking up the award this year for her latest album Folklore.

The awards ceremony also featured Mickey Guyton performing her breakthrough single Black Like Me” and Maren Morris, joined by John Mayer for a collaboration on “The Bones.”
