Two of the nation’s top freshmen will be on display Saturday when the Iowa Hawkeye women play top ranked UConn in the Sweet 16 of the NCAA Tournament. Iowa’s Caitlin Clark leads the country in scoring at just under 27 points per game and also leads the nation in assists. Minnesota native Paige Bueckers leads UCONN in scoring at just under 20 points per game. Iowa Coach Lisa Bluder says UConn is impressive on both ends of the floor.
The Hawkeyes and the Huskies clash, tip-off at noon tomorrow from the Sweet 16 in San Antonio.
