The Beaman Community Memorial Library was among the recipients of grants via the Grundy County Community Foundation. The Library was awarded $1,010 to fund a story walk in its Discovery Garden.

The Grundy County Community Foundation awarded nearly 112-thousand dollars in grants to  26 non-profits. The Reinbeck Firemen received the top grant, dollar-wise, of $12,250 for TNT Rescue Extrications Tools Upgrade.
