It’s not easy for kids of any age to get through a summer without a pool in the community, but that is what is facing the folks in Hubbard. Audrey Rieks of the fundraising committee says their 60-year-old pool is not usable.

A number of fundraisers are being held this month. For info, just check out the Hubbard Swimming Pool Facebook page. The goal is to raise three million for a new pool, including the possibility of passing a bond issue in Hubbard later this year.
