Quite the day weather wise across the state yesterday. Multiple tornado and severe thunderstorm warnings. One funnel cloud was reported near Green Mountain, with another spotted near Melbourne.

The National Weather Service says it will be doing a preliminary storm study in the Calhoun/Hamilton counties area and another in Bremer and Butler counties. While some damage has been reported, there have been no reports of injuries thus far.
