Karl Chevrolet Acquires Dave Wright Buick, GMC and Dave Wright Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep, Ram of Marshalltown Iowa.
Ankeny, 7.16.2021 – Carl Moyer of Karl Chevrolet will acquire Dave Wright Buick, GMC, Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram of Marshalltown, adding two more franchise dealerships to his portfolio and expanding the offerings under the Karl Brand to Iowans.
When Carl Moyer first opened his doors in January 1978, he started with nothing more than a vision and a plan. He quickly established a set of ground rules that put the customer first, treating everyone the same after a sale as during the purchase process. With his hands-on approach and daily involvement, we can proudly say this attitude has not changed in over 43 years.

Since 2017, Carl Moyer has purchased two other GM Dealerships, now known as Karl Chevrolet of Stuart and Karl Chevrolet, Buick, GMC of Webster City. Stuart has since undergone a multi-million dollar expansion and renovation into a state-of-the-art, full-service dealership. Webster City will soon relocate to a larger location, which will allow for expanded sales, service, parts and collision offerings. Adding Karl Pre-Owned in Glidden, in partnership with Managing Partner Bryan Spangler, the Karl Brand has increased its Iowa footprint, with a continued focus on a first-class automotive experience.
With this acquisition, Moyer will add an additional Buick, GMC dealership, as well as Chrysler, Dodge, Jeep and Ram to the offerings under the strength and integrity of the Karl Brand.
