If you are interested in representing the city on the Marshalltown City Council, now is the time to begin to get your paperwork together. The Mayor and four council positions will be open, some will not have an incumbent running for re-election. At Large Councilor Bill Martin says it’s a rewarding way to give back to the community.
Potential candidates have until 5:00 on September 16th to turn in their paperwork in order to be on the November ballot.
