The drivers of a two-vehicle crash on Highway 14 north of Marshalltown yesterday both ended up in the hospital.

The Iowa State Patrol says a pickup driven by William Murphy of Waterloo crossed the center line and hit head on a car driven by David Muhlena of Union. Murphy was taken to UPH-Marshalltown, while Muhlena was taken to Methodist in Des Moines. Both men were wearing seatbelts.
