A group of natural gas students from Marshalltown Community College recently too ka step toward their future by engaging in a series of mock interviews with local industries.

Natural Gas Technician Instructor Rick Dorsey invited three Iowa industries to visit campus and give students some helpful advice for future interviews.

This is the eighth year that the program has invited businesses to campus to help with the mock interview process with both the first and second-year students.

This year employers included: Bob Hiatt, an electric trainer with the Iowa Association of Municipal Utilities; Lori Wildman, a training specialist for Iowa Alliant Energy, and Justin Jones, an operations manager for Northern Natural Gas.

Marshalltown Community College, located in Marshalltown, is a member of the Iowa Valley Community College District. The district is comprised of Marshalltown Community College, Ellsworth Community College, Iowa Valley Grinnell, and Iowa Valley Continuing Education. The district serves a broad range of students and businesses throughout central Iowa.
