Marshalltown Police responded to a report of a domestic disturbance early Wednesday morning on the city’s northeast side.

Shortly after midnight, police were notified of a domestic type incident in progress at a local sports bar.

Twenty-one-year-old Morgan Thomas was arrested by police and formally charged with domestic abuse assault causing bodily injury.
