A stolen vehicle investigation by the Marshalltown Police Department has led to the arrest of a woman on illegal drug and vehicle theft charges.

Twenty-seven-year-old Carina Victor was arrested by Marshalltown Police on Wednesday morning in the 200 block of North 3rd Avenue.

Victor, the suspect, has been formally charged with Second-Degree Theft Involving a Motor Vehicle; Driving With a Suspended License; Possession of a Controlled Substance; Possession of a Controlled Substance, Marijuana; and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

Marshalltown Police this week have made an arrest in a local identity theft case.

Thirty-one-year-old Edward Murray was arrested by authorities at the Marshalltown Police Department on Wednesday afternoon.

Murray has been formally charged with Engaging in Identity Theft and Fraudulent Use of a Credit Card.
