The Marshalltown Area Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce a new name and logo for the area’s young professionals group, now known as “Connect Marshalltown.”

The group meets monthly for social gatherings at local bars, restaurants and other meeting places on the first Wednesday of each month.

The next gathering is scheduled for April 6 from 4:30-6:30 p.m. at El Cantarito Bar and Grill at 903 West Lincoln Way.

The event is open to anyone who would like to connect.
