The Iowa Department of Agriculture and Land Stewardship has released its weekly fuel report for the week of March 24 – 30, 2022.
As of Wednesday, March 30, the price of regular unleaded gasoline averaged $3.89 across Iowa, according to Triple-A.
Prices rose 2 cents from last week’s price and were $1.12 higher than one year ago.
The national average price on Wednesday was $4.24, which was steady from last week’s price.
Retail diesel prices in Iowa were up 10 cents this week with a statewide average of $4.82.
One year ago, diesel prices averaged $3.07 in Iowa.
The current Iowa diesel price is 30 cents less than the national average of $5.12.
Wholesale ethanol held steady and is currently priced at $2.16 a gallon.
