The Tama County Historical Society will present “A History of Coins” on Wednesday, April 6, beginning at 7 p.m. at the Wieting Theater at 101 South Church Street in Toledo.

Avid coin collector Jeff Shaw will share some of his collection, as well as stories and the history behind them.

He will also discuss how he got started with coin collecting.

The program is free and open to the public.
